Purlin Dipper is one of a range of Dream Bird patterns by Jo Avery.
Difficulty Rating: 1 ( super easy)
The purlin dipper is a wading bird that lives along the coastline where it feeds on shellfish and marine invertebrates. It uses it’s extra long thin beak to dig them out of the wet sand. A common sight all around the British Isles especially in the autumn when vast flocks gather together for murmurations at dusk. A stunning sight to behold with their feathers flashing between pink and blue as they twist and turn in the evening light.
Disclaimer: bird information is completely made up for fun. This bird comes straight out of Jo’s imagination!
